Dear Prospective Chicago Fit Performance Team Member,

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page! It is our hope that you are exactly the person we are looking for so we can offer you the fun and rewarding job that we have available.

So, let me tell you a little about our company and the opportunity.

Chicago Fit Performance was founded in August of 2012 and
it's not just a gym.  It’s a place where our members come to have the best hour of their day.

We pride ourselves in having a great team, an incredible service and creating a unique and exceptional experience for our members.  We provide coaching, support, education, motivation, accountability and most importantly a fun, energetic environment that helps people reach their fitness goals, so they can right better stories (to their life).

We pride ourselves on the ability to customize exercises to meet our member where they are at, to fit their bodies, and to allow them to progress at a rate that is safe and sustainable.

  1. Our next coach will be a people-person.  While we’re well known for our technical and coaching abilities here at CFP, in reality we are in the people business. On the contrary, one of the biggest reasons for our success is because we realize that our members truly are everything to our business.  We go to great lengths to get to know our clients, what motivates them, and to understand the deeper reasons behind why they train. If you are personable, friendly, and easy going, you would be a great candidate for the position. But there’s more...

  2. Our next coach will be a life-long learner.  One of the few things you can bank on here at CFP is that we’re always going to be learning something new. This keeps us at the forefront of our industry, and allows us to stay ahead of the pack. Continuing education for us is non-negotiable. If you are curious, enjoy learning and want to be the best coach you can possibly be, you would be a great candidate for this position.

  3. Our next coach will be a consistent and steady team player.  In sports (and life), you quickly realize you’re only as strong as your weakest link.  CFP has grown over the past 8 years, and was able to survive the pandemic (that came with 4 months shutdown), because we have a tight-knit team that is serious about the long-term success of both the individuals involved, as well as the business as a whole.  If you want to be a part of a special team, then the coaching position at CFP could be an ideal situation for you.

If you are accepted for this position you will undergo a 2 week training to learn the systems we implement specifically at CFP that have put us where we are at nowadays. You will be working and training with our crew, participating in hands-on and in-staff training. We’ll be teaching you to become the best coach you can be.  We’ll feature real, significant education and real time with clients in the gym. You'll be provided with materials to study and learn. But only apply if you want to have fun and have a passion to learn. We work closely with our personal trainers to develop coaching, assessment and program-design skill sets to compliment career aspirations within the fitness industry.

If you have read this far, you’re probably wondering about compensation and benefits. Trust me when I say, we pay our coaches well because we want to keep them forever. If you are invited for an interview, we'll tell you more about our compensation structure which includes:

  • A base hourly rate

  • Tiered bumps in pay based on how many clients you train

  • Various incentives and bonuses

Do you connect with these?  If Yes, continue on…

Before you get excited and apply read this over.
